Abstract -- This research project is target-oriented and is composed of five major research area. The main purpose is to analyze the strong motion building array data to improve the building design technique in Taiwan. The five research topics are:
1. Library Bookshelves Safety Analysis from Strong Earthquake Motion Data
2. Study on Minimum Design Horizontal Lateral Force
3. Torsional Response due to Nonlinear Strength Eccentricity
4. Analysis of Two Historical Buildings for Strong Motion Instrumentation Program
5. Soil-Structure Interaction Analysis Based on Earthquake Response Records of Buildings
